Prof. Yuanxi Yang

Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences

China National Administration of GNSS and Applications

Title of Speech: 'Performance Analysis of Test System of BDS-3'  

Yuanxi Yang is a Professor both at National Key Lab of Geo-information Engineering, China and China National Administration of GNSS and Applications. He is the deputy Chief Architect of BeiDou Satellite System BDS-3and the Chair of Chinese Committee of the International Union of Geodesy & Geophysics (IUGG). He has been the Executive Chair of China Satellite Navigation Conference since 2009. Yang is a Fellow of the IAG and a Fellow of the U.S. Institute of Navigation. Yang is an author of two monographs and the author or co-author of over 300 journal and conference papers.


 

Prof. Chris Rizos

Title of Speech: 'The Future and GNSS: Ten Questions That We Require Answers To'

Chris Rizos is Professor of Geodesy and Navigation at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia. Chris is the immediate Past President of the International Association of Geodesy (IAG), a member of the Governing Board of the International GNSS Service (IGS), and a member of the Bureau of the International Union of Geodesy & Geophysics (IUGG). Chris is a Fellow of the IAG, a Fellow and current president of the Australian Institute of Navigation, and a Fellow of the U.S. Institute of Navigation. Chris has been researching the technology and applications of GPS and other positioning systems for over three decades, and is an author or co-author of over 650 journal and conference papers.


Prof. Jinling Wang

Title of Speech: 'Geospatial Mapping and Navigation for Autonomous Vehicles'

Jinling Wang is an Associate Professor in the School of Civil & Environmental Engineering, University of New South Wales (UNSW), Sydney, Australia. His major research interest is in the areas of satellite positioning and navigation, geospatial mapping and navigation using multi-sensors, 3D maps, geodesy as well as geospatial engineering. He is a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Navigation, UK, and a Fellow of the International Association of Geodesy (IAG). He is an Associate Editor of the Journal of Navigation and a member of the Editorial Board for the international journal GPS Solutions, and Journal of Global Positioning Systems. He is the Chair of IAG Sub-Commission 4.2 (2011-2015; 2015-2019) on Geospatial Mapping and Engineering Applications.
